Dynamic height differences
Organic shapes always play a starring role in Arte Verde’s designs, and this project is no different in this respect. The curvy plant borders accentuate the terrace, creating a very natural-looking garden. The existing height differences were solved in a very creative way. The terrace, stairs and raised bio-pool thus form a single entity, with Vande Moortel Steenbakkerij’s brown nuanced SeptimA Chestnut clay pavers being the common theme. These pavers proved the perfect choice for this rural setting. In a later stage, the walls will be covered with lime plaster, after which the clay pavers will blend in even better. The colour nuances of the clay pavers in a wild bond contrast nicely with the curvy plant borders and the pool’s clean design.
