NOA outdoor living is a 30,000 m² inspiration park where high-end partners have joined forces to create 12 themed gardens designed to inspire. Each of the twelve gardens in the experience park has been carefully designed and fully furnished, ensuring that visitors are not only visually stimulated but also provided with practical information. You can stroll through a variety of atmospheres and settings; from walled city gardens to expansive gardens with swimming pools, atmospheric squares, practical outdoor offices and tranquil seating areas to let all the inspiration sink in. In this edition, we’d like to take you to Lakeside.
In all its understated unity, Lakeside is completely in harmony with its surroundings. It could be the embodiment of Zen architecture. A place to slow down: a glass of wine in hand, toes in the water, friends at the endlessly long dining table. Or sharing a sauna with a view of a heron fishing.
Light and reflection
The glass pavilion sits on the jetty of a small lake. Or rather: it appears to be floating. Low and horizontal, with the tranquillity of a Japanese houseboat. Transparent façades draw light and reflection inside. Outside, lush waterside plants rustle, contrasting with the clean lines of the architecture. Carpentier’s dark decking keeps everything visually balanced.
Modular ingenuity
Behind this apparent simplicity lies a well-thought-out, modular design. Renson’s Amani system forms the basis and allows for a wide range of configurations, from light canopies to fully-fledged pavilions such as this one. The furniture complements this perfectly: the Panigiri table by Extremis, shown here in green lava stone, makes a striking statement without disrupting the serenity of the space.
Wellness at the viewpoint
At the rear, like a sort of viewpoint, is the Alpha Wellness sauna. Bespoke and seamlessly integrated. The rounded shapes break up the clean lines. They bring a sense of softness and security. The dark wood departs from the classic Finnish tradition, yet feels entirely natural here. Everything feels just right. Everything slows down.
