Seamless design
“The decision to market a vertical garden fence was inspired by the cladding we offer at Durasid. Currently, there is a trend in architecture to install them vertically. We have cleverly capitalised on this evolution by creating a coherent solution. Because we print a different wood pattern on both sides of our tongue-and-groove boards, the overall look is just right, ensuring the façade of the house, canopy and garden fence blend in seamlessly with each other.”
Local production
“What makes our garden fencing so unique is that we produce everything ourselves, from the raw material to the finished product. Our fencing is available in three types of materials: wood-plastic composite, plastic and aluminium. Because we produce and distribute our garden fences locally, we can keep our CO2 emissions low. The wood in the Duofuse wood-plastic composite comes from sustainable European forestry and has PEFC certification. And if something goes wrong in production, we can always reuse it, ensuring closed-loop recycling,” Jacco Lodewikus says.
