Brickworks Vande Moortel has an impressive history. The family business was founded in the Scheldt River valley in Oudenaarde in 1846. Today the company is more active than ever at that same location. Over the years, Vande Moortel has become an important manufacturer in the top segment of facing bricks and the Belgian market leader in clay pavers. Innovation and technology have always played an essential part in this process. Although Vande Moortel is currently very active internationally, it has retained its family character. It’s therefore still a very accessible company.
