Corradi | Alba Butterfly

Alba Butterfly is an Alba version that uses Butterfly, the new folding cover with a pantograph system that “flips” the idea of a pergola with canvas. The Butterfly pantograph system enables the cover to fold upwards, leaving the space underneath totally free and minimizing the encumbrance of the canvas when fully retracted. The system also features supporting tubes with a continuous radius curvature, which makes it more robust and also promotes rain water runoff. With a single module, the structure can reach 550 x 715 cm and is equipped with a high-performance water drainage system, features that make it ideal for use in catering or hospitality, although it is also designed for the residential sector.

The pillars measure 11 x 11 cm, while the beam accommodates an oversized 12.2 x 8.7 cm gutter, for an aesthetically pleasing and elegant look with high performance. The large perimeter gutter was designed incorporating some interesting innovations that guarantee rain-proofing that is almost 6 times higher than the limits imposed by EU regulations (EN 13561:2015), which specifies 56 l/h/sq. m: Alba Butterfly achieved values of up to 300 l/h/sq. m. The top cover canvas, which is coplanar to the gutter, and the way in which the latter is designed drastically reduce the possibility of dripping inside the pergola.

For a unique total look, Alba Butterfly can be complemented with all closures from the Corradi range and fitted with LED lights all around the inside perimeter.
